Toby has passed the $266,000 mark in his charity! December 2011
Besides continuing to find opportunities in the U.S., a Toby Ministry
has been started in Costa Rica. In addition to cash for needy people,
thousands of dollars worth of wheelchairs and Hoyer lifts were donated
to Escuela De Rehabilitacion for handicapped children.
The 2008 project will be to ascertain needs in Nicaragua and begin a
Toby Ministry there. (View video)

Funds will be raised to ship a mare that has been donated to the Nicaraguan people. She will be bred to Toby and shipped to Nicaragua in 2010. A Toby foal will be born in 2011 in Nicaragua.

Toby is a 15-year-old, sorrel-and-white paint stallion, owned by Jim and Sharon Borgeson, of rural Douglas County.
For the past eight years, Toby (official name: Thirsty Peppy) has provided the horsepower for a ministry, that has distributed over $250,000 to their church and people in need. read more

Foals
Toby has proven himself in reining competition, working cattle on the ranch, and as a pleasant companion and friend. Now he has proven himself as a sire.
When bred to solid mares, Toby has produced 83% color. He has produced three coat patterns-tobiano, overo, and tovero. Foal owners have all reported their foals have a remarkably good disposition. See picture of Toby's foals here
Reining
After placing second at the Missouri State Fair the first time he was shown one-handed, Toby placed first under the next twelve judges in a row. Toby's wins included the Ozark Paint-O-Rama, Missouri Paint-O-Rama, and the Kansas State Fair. For his success Toby was awarded the Register Of Merit in open reining. more information here
